RT648 IP67 PMR446 Business Radio

Straight out of the box this radio looks like a serious bit of kit. The case is very well made and feels more like a Yaesu or Icom. Its a large radio and looks very professional when clipped on a belt. The controls are simple and very easy to use. Performance wise it has a good sized antenna and a large speaker giving loud clear audio. Range will be subject to terrain but on testing i found that it transmitted very clear from a few streets away with the receive radio left in my house. This is one very TOUGH radio. Whist testing i totally submerged it in water for 10 mins without any effect and it survived a 25-30 foot drop without any damage. That's impressive. My only slight criticism is that the comm port is a Motorola type (prob for IP67 waterproof) but a Kenwood port would offer more cheaper accessories. In conclusion this is a very very built tough full sized PMR radio suitable for business or outdoor leisure hobbies.

I am still in the learning stage. At the moment, I have not tested all the functions. But the product is strong and resistant, and the battery seems to last a long time, so it is a good product. I think I'll buy another talkie in the near future because I'm fully satisfied. Best Regards, Jean

die scanfunktion wir uns echt super vor allem wenn man mit mehreren leuten unterwegs ist und vielleicht einer aus versehen den kanal gewechselt hat oder man weiß einfach gar nicht auf welchem kanal jetzt gerade gefunkt wird und das ist natürlich dann eine super funktion.
