Question 1: What is the range of Retevis RT50?

Answer 1: It can reach 2 to 5 miles under ideal condition. But it may be affected by the terrain and the environment.

Question 2: Can I use RT50 with a repeater?

Answer 2: Yes, RT50 DMR radio can be used with repeaters. You need to set the TX frequency of the RT50 to be the same as the RX frequency of the repeater, and the RX frequency of the RT50 to be the same as the TX frequency of the repeater.

Question 3: Can Retevis RT50 work with RT81?

Answer 3: Yes, they can work together. RT81 is a dual time slot high power UHF DMR radio. If you want the RT50 to work with the RT81, please make sure they have the same frequency and CTCSS/DCS on the analog mode, or have the same frequency and color code on the digital mode.

Question 4: Is RT50 compatible with Motorola radio's encryption?

Answer 4: 
1. The encryption of the old version RT50 is compatible with RT50 and RT81.
2. The new version of RT50 encryption is compatible with the old version of RT50 (10 keys).
3. The new version of RT50, in addition to 10-key encryption, adds 32-key encryption, compatible with Motorola AES128 encryption; also adds 64-key encryption, compatible with Motorola AES256 encryption. For the above encryption, please set it through the latest software.
