Question 1: Can Retevis RA85 be used with a repeater or a base station?

Answer 1: Yes, RA85 GMRS two-way radios are repeater capable. From GMRS Channel 23 to Channel 30, they can hit the local repeater or connect to a GMRS repeater. RA85 can work with Retevis RT97 and RT97S GMRS repeater. The channel 23 to channel 30 of RA85 GMRS radio can work with RT97 or RT97S GMRS repeater's Channel 1 to Channel 8 directly.

Question 2: How far can Retevis RA85 cover?

Answer 2: The range of Retevis RA85 GMRS walkie talkie is about 1 to 3 miles out of the box, depending on the power and the environment. RA85 GMRS radio has 8 base station channels. If you connect it with the base station, the range will be greatly expanded. It is recommended to use Retevis RT97 or RT97S GMRS repeater to extend the range of RA85 handheld radio.

Question 3: How to cancel the preset CTCSS/DCS of RA85?
