First of all what Tony said in his review is totally incorrect. Customs won't confiscate it and it is NOT an "unauthorized copy" what Tony is referring to is the original project that put together what is now commonly sold as the rs-918ssb or similar, from China. No one owns the rights or IP to this hardware combination and the folks that started and run the original project did not design, engineer, nor manufacture the hardware components that make the original project kit. It is simply a mashup of hardware parts manufactured and sold all over the world to anyone. Of course other countries are capitalizing on the idea. Whether you get the original kit or a China clone, it is made of virtually the same cheap parts from exactly the same places. The big difference is quality control and support. Cry about it if you want but no one stole anything here. If you don't want to or can't go the kit route, go with something like this or the rs-918ssb from a retailer that will allow easy returns in case you get a bad one. Then enjoy the hobby! No judgment. Tony, please stop being an elitist and spreading false facts.
