I recently re programmed my Retevis RB628B PMR radios to turn off key bleeps and change the channel button order. I used the 2 PIN Programming Cable sold on the Retevis site. You will need the correct cable to program the radio. The driver for the cable and the program software is all free and supplied in the support section on the Retevis website. Installing the software can be a little tricky if your not used to programming radios so i made a very easy to follow step by step instruction video. Once up and running you can access the full hidden features of the RB628. Options like adjusting the squelch level, turning on VOX (voice activation), setting a time out timer for transmit and selecting a radio lock function are just some of the options. The cable itself is the Kenwood 2 pin type and is of high quality and good value
